<p>It started at Mimi&#8217;s house last weekend - she climbed onto this little wagon over and over.<br />

<p><a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/06/IMG_02851.jpg" title="IMG_02851.jpg"><img id="image419" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/06/IMG_02851.jpg" alt="IMG_02851.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>When we got home from a week of traveling, she found a hiding place under her changing table.<br />
<a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/06/DSC037531.JPG" title="DSC037531.JPG"><img id="image413" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/06/DSC037531.JPG" alt="DSC037531.JPG" /></a></p>
<p>Yesterday, Amelia climbed up into a her rocking chair and stood up. She was pretty proud of herself. Today she learned how to get down. </p>
<p><a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/06/DSC037701.jpg" title="DSC037701.jpg"><img id="image415" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/06/DSC037701.jpg" alt="DSC037701.jpg" /></a></p>

<p>When we came home from church today, she climbed into this basket and sat on top of the toys. She was playing peek-a-boo with me! </p>
<p><a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/06/DSC037901.JPG" title="DSC037901.JPG"><img id="image418" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/06/DSC037901.JPG" alt="DSC037901.JPG" /></a></p>

<p>Then she found the railing by the stairs. She was half-way through it before I caught her and pulled her little body back onto level ground. She must have thought it was pretty fun because she kept going back. </p>

<p><a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/DSC03424.jpg" title="DSC03424.jpg"><img id="image397" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/DSC03424.jpg" alt="DSC03424.jpg" /></a></p>

<p>Today Amelia figured out how to drink from a sippy cup by herself. She&#8217;s been so frustrated the last few weeks not being able to hold the cup correctly to get the water out. Whenever she sees us eating or drinking she will spit out her paci, in hope of getting some of what we have! </p>

<p>Happy 9 months, sweet girl! We love you!!!</p>

<p>We had a picnic one afternoon on the deck, but had to move inside to finish because it was too cold and windy.<br />
<a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/DSC03338.JPG" title="DSC03338.JPG"><img id="image387" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/DSC03338.JPG" alt="DSC03338.JPG" /></a></p>

<p>On our last day, we went to a serging class with GranGran. There just happened to be park across the street, so we fed the birds, played in the park and occasionally checked in on GranGran&#8217;s class. </p>

Sam fell asleep before lunch on the way there. He was having a sucker for a snack (a special treat) and just couldn&#8217;t stay awake to eat it. I tried taking it out of his hand two times and he woke up and caught me both times. He was NOT going to let go of that sucker, even if he was sleeping!</p>

<p>Sam getting ready to go play in the snow. We didn&#8217;t really pack for the cold weather, but Aunt Melissa found some snowboots in Sam&#8217;s size! He had to wear adult-size gloves, but didn&#8217;t seem to mind!<br />
<a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/IMG_0135.JPG" title="IMG_0135.JPG"><img id="image364" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/IMG_0135.JPG" alt="IMG_0135.JPG" /></a></p>
<p>Amelia&#8217;s first snow! She stayed inside with Mimi after a quick trip outside to feel the snowflakes falling on us&#8230;..<br />
<a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/IMG_0133.JPG" title="IMG_0133.JPG"><img id="image365" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/IMG_0133.JPG" alt="IMG_0133.JPG" /></a></p>

<p>while Aunt Melissa, Grandpa, Sam and I threw snowballs and built a snowman. Every time Sam would throw a snowball he&#8217;d say, &#8220;I broke&#8217;d it!!!&#8221; and laugh!<br />

<p>We died Easter eggs and it was messy! Sam loved it, but a dozen eggs was not nearly enough. He wanted to do more&#8230;</p>

<p>Sam baked cookies with Aunt Melissa &#038; Mimi,<br />

<p>Then we got to spend some time with Mommy&#8217;s best friend from high school, Katie, and her son, Kason. You did not want to leave her house that night. Cool slide in the backyard and yummy spaghetti, bread and brownies for dinner!<br />

So, we were trying to clarify and asked him if Noah built that building; he very confidently said, &#8220;Uh huh!&#8221; </p>
<p>Gotta love it! </p>

I took the kids to Tulsa for a week and came back with a different child. Amelia has changed so much in the last week and I&#8217;m having a hard time keeping up! </p>
<p>Last Saturday was a long night with very little sleep, but Amelia woke up with her 1st tooth. That afternoon she waved good-bye to her Uncle Logan. </p>
<p><a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/DSC01202.JPG" title="DSC01202.JPG"><img id="image354" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/DSC01202.JPG" alt="DSC01202.JPG" /></a></p>
<p>Amelia is getting SO close to crawling. She gets up on her knees and rocks - sometimes she goes backwards and sometimes she just scoots around on her bottom. She&#8217;s also started pulling up on her toys and furniture. I thought that came after crawling and before walking, but she&#8217;s doing it now!</p>
<p>The baby food stage didn&#8217;t seem to last very long - well, I guess it&#8217;s been 4 months since we started her on rice cereal! Yikes - where does the time go? She&#8217;s eating all kinds of things now: carrots, blueberries, avocados, yogurt, peas, applesauce, cheese, green beans, eggs, bread, bananas. And she has quite an appetite - just like Sam! </p>
<p><a class="imagelink" href="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/IMG_0093.JPG" title="IMG_0093.JPG"><img id="image352" src="http://sproleswebservices.com/sproles_backup_20090614/kids/files/2009/04/IMG_0093.JPG" alt="IMG_0093.JPG" /></a></p>
<p>Possibly the best news of all - Amelia&#8217;s blocked tear duct has cleared up in the last two weeks. Hip Hip Hooray!!! The pediatrician told us to wait until 9 months to see if it would clear up on its own. He wasn&#8217;t very optimistic, but I&#8217;m sure glad we waited. I was dreading the thought of <a href="http://health.yahoo.com/vision-treatment/blocked-tear-ducts-surgery/healthwise--hw3247.html">surgery</a> on our baby - just thinking about it makes me queasy. </p>

Sam and Amelia sharing &#8220;pink candy.&#8221; I&#8217;m not sure why Sam calls it that. I bought these popsicle molds at IKEA last weekend and it&#8217;s their new favorite toy. They are already a hit and I haven&#8217;t even made popsicles!
